What setbacks or downsides might you encounter and how do you intend to deal with them?
The setback that I keep falling into is getting distracted or losing interest for periods of time. I want to find a practice that excites me, but that I can also develop into a habit, and that's what I'm hoping to get out of this book.
How do you know you're ready to be a rebel witch, creating your own path rather than following any pre-existing system?
While there are a lot of elements and tools from other systems that I like, I would struggle to stay interested in a practice that isn't the right fit for me. Even what I currently have for a practice already pulls from a variety of different sources.
"Discerning the difference between what is a passing surface interest and what holds deep significance for you is the key to knowing what to add to your practice." Write about your emotional response to this statement.
I think, long term, this is important to keep in mind. However, I think it's also important to try things out, because it can be hard to distinguish the two intuitively. It's also fine if you add things to your practice temporarily, keeping them as long as they serve you, and putting them aside when they don't. I think as a rebel witch, it's important to remember that nothing is set in stone.
